He has been called Cake Boy in Lynchburg where he learned his craft from his late grandmother Evelyn Nowlin Murrell, and the start of his entrepreneurial venture of a hobby of baking sweets, (2 coconut pies) to his 1st Wedding Cake at the age of 16.

Having traveled the country both domestic and abroad. He has been renowned countless times form The View to USA Today, syndicated/international radio as creator of the world famous Southern Red Velvet Cake.
